In 75 years of experience, we've seen the world evolve, change and adapt itself. Today, more than ever, it is essential to educate ourselves and to understand our impact on the environment. In the last few years, Auclair has associated itself with several organizations and companies to better understand the current environmental challenges and take action to create a change.
All our new collections are developed with the future in mind using socially and environmentally responsible sourcing and manufacturing methods. The only footprints we want to see are the ones we leave in the snow.
RAW MATERIALS
We are in the process of a transition to a circular economy, with an increased focus on renewable resources and goods that have less social and environmental consequences. Owing to this fact, our commitment is to develop solutions that deliver on the fit, comfort and performance that is expected from Auclair while reducing the socio-environmental repercussions of our products throughout their life cycle, from manufacturing to disposal.

Thinsulate™ Insulation with recycled fibers
Made up of post-consumer recycled materials, 3M™ Thinsulate™ Recycled Insulation is a light and warm solution. Crafted from up to 78% post-consumer recycled material, this insulation retains warmth and has excellent wash durability.

REPREVE®
Fiber made from recycled plastic bottles...to do good. Repreve® transform recycled bottles into an amazing fiber. Their process embeds properties like wicking, adaptive warming and cooling, water repellency, and more at the fiber level. For reliable, durable quality.

PrimaLoft®
PrimaLoft® offers high-performance insulation and materials that are good for both you and the environment. PrimaLoft® has prevented millions of plastic water bottles from entering landfills and oceans by transorming them into fibers.
Our first leather alpine glove using only eco-friendly raw materials
The challenge was to produce a premium leather alpine glove using only select raw materials that would minimize the impact on our environment. The ECO RACER is the end result. It is made with a combination of eco-friendly materials that come together and deliver on the fit, comfort and performance that is expected from Auclair. Soft and durable veg-tan leather as a base with biodegradable insulation, recycled polyester lining, re-enforced hemp stitching, Arianprene eco-foam, and Yulex plant ased neoprene in the cuff - leaving a positive hand-print with a minimal footprint.
